Fans have been left shocked over what Mikel Arteta did which resulted in a yellow card during Arsenal's Champions League clash against Inter Milan.
On Wednesday night, the Gunners travelled to the San Siro stadium to take on Italian giants Inter in the Champions League.
After a cagey first half, the hosts were handed the perfect chance to take the lead after Mikel Merino's handball resulted in a penalty.

Turkish international Hakan Calhanoglu stepped up to make it 1-0 to Inter.
In the second half, Arsenal pushed for the equaliser but were faced with a tough Inter defence.
With 63 minutes on the clock, Gunners boss Arteta was given a yellow card by referee Istvan Kovacs after a bizarre incident.

As the ball travelled towards the technical area, Arteta put out his hand looking to catch the ball to throw back to his players.
However, the ball was still in play as Arteta went to catch the ball, leading to protests from Inter players and the referee was left with no choice but to book the Spaniard. You can watch the footage below.

After their match against Inter in the Champions League, the Gunners will be back in Premier League action this weekend when they take on Chelsea in a mouth-watering London derby.
