Reports of Arsenal's pre-season squad to face Nurnberg have emerged and there are some notable absentees.
Mikel Arteta's pre-season tour gets underway next Thursday at the Max-Morlock-Stadion in Nuremberg before travelling to the United States where they will face Premier League rivals Manchester United.
The Gunners will then return to England at the beginning of August to take on Monaco in the Emirates Cup, before they face Manchester City in the Community Shield.

Among those definitely absent from the tour is Charlie Patino - a decision which could all-but seal his future in north London.
The 19-year-old spent last season on loan at Blackpool, where he impressed despite the Championship side suffering relegation.
Patino made 33 appearances for Stephen Dobbie's side, popping up with six goal contributions during that time.

However, the teenager is expected to leave Arsenal after eight years in search of regular first team football, according to The Athletic.
And his omission from Arteta's 30-man squad would suggest that decision has already been agreed after the Englishman posted a picture on Instagram from London Colney the day after the rest of the squad travelled to Germany.
Arsenal's rumoured 30-man squad
Dan Critchlow of the Daily Cannon has revealed who he believes to have travelled to Germany, and the 30-man list has some interesting names missing.

Arthur Okonkwo, Nicolas Pepe and Lino Sousa were the other names available to Arteta, along with Sambi Lokonga. Although the Belgian recently confirmed he would not feature due to injury.
Meanwhile, Nuno Tavares and Emile Smith Rowe will not be part of the squad due to their involvement in the U21 Euros, with Matt Turner also on international duty with the USA.
