A compilation of William Saliba’s highlights during Arsenal’s Premier League clash against Manchester City has emerged.
On Sunday afternoon, Arsenal were hoping to finally end their long winless run against City in the Premier League.
In what was a cagey affair, it took a deflected Gabriel Martinelli shot in the 86th minute to seal a vital 1-0 win for Mikel Arteta’s men.

That victory was Arsenal’s first league win over City since 2015.
After the match, a compilation of Saliba, alongside his centre-back partner Gabriel Magalhaes emerged on social media.
Frenchman Saliba did a stunning job as he kept the dangerous Erling Haaland quiet for the large majority of the match.

Saliba produced a flawless display as he won 100% of his duels, completed 97% of his passes whilst committing zero fouls and was not dribbled past by any City players.
The 22-year-old was due to link up with the France squad for the upcoming international break but has been forced to withdraw due to a toe injury.
As per the Metro, a statement said: “William Saliba is not able to participate in the gathering of the French team. The Arsenal defender suffers from pain in his right big toe. He will remain available to his club to treat this chronic injury.

“After speaking with Dr. Franck Le Gall, the French team doctor, Didier Deschamps noted William Saliba’s withdrawal and decided to replace him with Jean-Clair Todibo. The latter is expected at Clairefontaine on Monday at noon, like all the selected players.”
Apart from Saliba, winger Bukayo Saka will also miss the international break due to injury.
Gunners boss Arteta said: “No, he couldn’t make it. He hasn’t had a single training session so he will be out. He’s not available to play football at the moment.”
