Fans are describing Andros Townsend as the best commentator of Euro 2024 after hearing him throughout Croatia versus Albania.
The thrilling Group A fixture finished 2-2, with Albania taking an early lead in the first half.
They then conceded two quick goals after half-time, but substitute Klaus Gjasula scored a dramatic 93rd-minute equaliser from inside the penalty area.

The final five minutes of stoppage time descended into pure chaos, with both teams having shots on target.
There was even time for a hilarious yellow card, with Gjasula simply dragging a Croatia attacker to the ground as he looked to run towards goal.
Plenty of the reaction on social media, meanwhile, related to Townsend, who is at Germany as a co-commentator for ITV.

The winger featured regularly for the broadcaster during the 2022 World Cup while he recovered from a serious knee injury at Everton.
He was often alongside Seb Hutchinson, with their pairing rated as one of the most entertaining and free-flowing of that tournament.
Hutchinson and Townsend took the microphone again for Croatia versus Albania - and fans loved Townsend's insights and general commentary style during the contest.

The 32-year-old is a rare phenomenon in commentary terms, as he is summarising the action whilst still an active player.
One wrote: "Andros Townsend great on co-comms, can tell he's done loads of research and tried to really learn about both teams. Really refreshing."
Another said: "Andros Townsend is the biggest breath of fresh air in commentary in recent times."
A third added: "Seb Hutchinson and Andros Townsend, take a bow for the commentary on that Croatia vs Albania game. Pure passion and chaos towards the end there from both teams, absolutely magnificent."

And a fourth said: "First time I've ever heard a co-commentator react to the final whistle by saying "Oh no!" because he didn't want the match to end. Andros Townsend speaks for us all."
