Arsenal fans have blasted FIFA 23 for their game faces for the likes of Mikel Arteta and several of the club’s star players.
Gamers who ordered the Ultimate Edition of FIFA 23 were given early access to the game prior to the world wide official release on Friday, September 30.
Earlier in the month, Arsenal fans were already starting to vent their frustrations towards EA after they revealed the ratings for the Gunners stars. The club’s fan base were not happy that their highest rated player had just an overall of 84.
Fans expressed their disapproval on social media.

One fan said: “This arsenal team has been absolutely underrated by EA sports FIFA 23... Jesus 83??? Partey 84?? Or even saka 82?? Absolutely not!!”
Another added: “EA have butchered some of these ratings. Not saying everyone should be 84+ but some have been under rated, Martinelli, Zinchenko, Xhaka all examples.”
Now, after playing the full game, Arsenal fans are even more angry after seeing the in game appearances of their manager and players.
The likes of Gabriel Magalhaes, Ben White and Emile Smith Rowe look completely unrecognisable. Whilst manager Arteta looks the worst out of all of them.
Gunners fans were not happy with the game faces of Fabio Vieira, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Albert Sambi Lokonga too.

They once again took to social media to show their disappointment.
One fan said: “Hey @EASPORTSFIFAis there a particular reason why Arsenal’s players and manager look so inaccurate in your new game? Are you not allowed to use their likenesses or something? Genuinely curious. Feel free to DM.”
Another tweeted: “FIFA 23 has done Arsenal dirty.”
A third fan added: “Arsenal been done dirty again by EA this year! But at least they found the time and money to scan a fictional manager from a TV series.”
However, in fairness to EA, Arsenal announced they had extended their partnership with Konami Digital Entertainment in August.

Konami is one of EA’s biggest competitors, and this could be the reason why Arsenal players and managers haven’t been scanned for the game.
