Footage of Federico Valverde’s thunderous shot during a match for Uruguay has gone viral.
Earlier in the week, Valverde grabbed the attentions of fans around the world after he took out Iran players on three occasions with the sheer power of his shots.
As a result of that, Valverde’s powerful strike from Uruguay’s 1-0 win over Peru in a qualifying game for the World Cup back in March has resurfaced again.

Valverde has always been highly regarded amongst the Real Madrid fan base and this season, he has taken his football to another level.
The 24-year-old has been in sublime form for Madrid so far this season. In nine appearances across all competitions, Valverde has scored four times and assisted twice.
After scoring twice against local rivals Atletico Madrid and receiving the Player of the Month in La Liga for September, manager Carlo Ancelotti heaped praise on the midfielder.

The Madrid boss said to Marca after the Madrid derby: “He is a leader and Federico is very, very important to us.
“He’s doing very well, he’s very humble, and this can help him to be a leader in the future.”
Ancelotti previously joked that if he cant get Valverde to score at least 10 goals, he should retire.
He said after Madrid’s win against RB Leipzig in the Champions League: “What was strange last year was that he only scored one goal, in the Super Cup I think.

“If you can’t get a player like that to score at least 10 goals in a season then you should rip up your coaching badge and retire.”
Ancelotti added: “Because he has a rock of a foot. Tonight he took the shot with his left foot. I’ve never seen him shoot like that with his left, so it shows he’s confident in his abilities, and he has a lot of abilities.
“He’s more than just energy. But, to say he’s best in the world in his position, we might have to wait a little longer.”
Valverde will be one of the stars of the World Cup as he will be an important part of the Uruguay team looking to get out of Group H where they will take on Portugal, Ghana and South Korea.
