Vincent Kompany's Burnley side were drawn against Manchester City in the quarter-finals of the 2022-23 FA Cup.
The Belgian will return to the club where he made history, winning four Premier League titles, two FA Cups, and a further four League cups.
Meanwhile, Brighton have drawn Grimsby Town, who will take part in the quarter-final of the competition for the first time in 84 years after beating Southampton 2-1.
Elsewhere, Manchester United drew fellow Premier League side Fulham, while Sheffield United will take on Blackburn in an all-Championship tie.
Holders Liverpool are out of the competition, having been beaten 2-1 by Brighton in round four.
