Former Newcastle United right-back Andy Griffin once left a "caterpillar cake sized turd" in the fridge he shared with teammate Bradley Orr.
Orr and Griffin played together at Newcastle in the early years of their respective careers and remain "best mates" to this day.
Speaking on the Under the Cosh podcast, former Bristol City and QPR defender Orr revealed that he was regularly tormented by Griffin, who he described as a "round the bend, nuts, horrible creature".

"Griff is one of my best mates, never mind football, one of my best friends, what a fella," Orr said.
"I lived with him for a few years - he’s around the bend, nuts, horrible creature, but an absolute diamond.
"Griff was playing week in, week out at this point and you know when you have to stay behind to do extra and stuff. I come in the flat one day and he’s asleep on the couch, and I've gone off and gone into the fridge and there is a turd that long on the top shelf of the fridge.

"I’m like 'are you for f****** real? We've got to live here, this is our fridge, with a big log about that long'," Orr said, while stretching out his hands.
"He wasn't asleep, he was just down laughing his head off and I was like 'there's something wrong with you mate. You know when you s*** on your own doorstep, you have s*** in your own fridge'.
"He thought it was just hilarious."

Podcast co-host, Chris Brown then joked: "Was it like a caterpillar cake in the fridge?", to which Orr replied: "Yeah... honestly."
Orr would go on to reveal that it was not the only time Griffin had attempted to repulse him in this manner.
"I came in another day and you know in your bathroom you'd have a glass for your toothbrush," Orr added.

"I came in, my toothbrush and that was gone and there was a massive stand-up log about that big in my toothbrush glass."
Griffin spent six years at Newcastle, scoring three goals in 104 appearances for the club before leaving for Portsmouth in 2004.
He would go on to have further spells at Stoke, Derby County, Reading, Doncaster and Chester City before retiring in 2014.
