Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti gave a passionate pre-match team talk ahead of their Champions League final win over Liverpool.
The Italian manager, who left Premier League side Everton in July to become Madrid's head coach for the second time, was in confident spirits ahead of kick-off.
"It’s a big feat to get to this point," Ancelotti said on Friday. "We’ve had a very good season and we are very close to achieving something huge this season."

He continued: "We are very calm in the camp, I am here to manage the game with the senior players helping the younger ones and there is a good atmosphere around the squad with lots of confidence running through the ranks.”
Ancelotti continued to ooze confidence coming into the showpiece event in Paris.
And on Friday afternoon, the Real Madrid squad were about to take part in their final training session when the 62-year-old instructed every player to gather inside the Stade de France centre circle.

“Tomorrow the final is going to be like a party. And after the game, we are all going to be happy."

The Italian said his Los Blancos side felt suitably prepared for coming up against Liverpool as they knew what to expect.
“I think it helped that Liverpool were easier to decipher than the others, because they have a very clear identity and we could prepare the way that we did,” he said.
"We knew what strategy to take, don’t give them space behind the defence to run into.
“Perhaps our football wasn’t extraordinarily beautiful tonight on an aesthetic level. But playing out from the back to incentivise their pressing wasn’t a great idea.

“We had a few more long balls, then when their press in our half of the pitch lessened, we got to control the ball more especially in the second half.”
