Thomas Tuchel has already made his feelings clear on becoming the new England manager amid reports that he is in 'advanced talks' with the FA.
The FA are looking for a permanent successor to Gareth Southgate, who resigned from his role in July after losing the Euro 2024 final to Spain.
Lee Carsley has been interim manager for England's two most recent international camps, and will take charge during the next international break in November.

Prior to Thursday's 2-1 defeat to Greece at Wembley, Carsley appeared to be in pole position to replace Southgate on a full-time basis.
But he was heavily criticised after the Greece defeat, both for his team selection and comments made in his post-match interviews.
And on Friday, BILD's Christian Falk reported that the FA were in 'advanced talks' with Tuchel, who is out of work after leaving Bayern Munich in the summer and has been linked with Manchester United, over becoming the new England manager.

That report is yet to be confirmed by UK outlets, but it is not the first time that Tuchel has been heavily linked with taking charge of the Three Lions.
Back in 2022, he was named as one of the favourites to take over from Southgate if he left his role following the World Cup in Qatar.
And Tuchel - who had recently been sacked by Chelsea - was asked about links to international football and England during the tournament in an interview with The Hindu.

He replied: "Yeah, why not [take charge of a national team]? I would, I would. I did not give too much thought to it until now.
"But I would consider it if it was the right team, and if it has the potential to win trophies like the World Cup and the Euros.
"I see where you are going [with England]. But I think England has a good coach right now.
"The team is very strong and very talented. As for everything else, I will not comment."
