A compilation of Mason Mount's highly-anticipated debut for Manchester United in their pre-season friendly against Leeds has emerged, with fans having their say on his performance.
The 24-year-old midfielder, who joined United from boyhood club Chelsea last week for a reported £55 million plus add-ons, was handed his first minutes by Erik ten Hag on Wednesday afternoon.
Wearing the iconic number seven shirt, Mount made a lively start, playing a number of trademark diagonal through balls to the likes of Amad and Hannibal Mejbri, who both impressed at the Ullevaal Stadium in Norway.

Mount, however, overcooked a number of passes throughout his 45-minute cameo against Daniel Farke's side, leading many Chelsea supporters to post short clips of those unfortunate moments on Twitter.

Ultimately, the midfield trio of Mount, Mejbri and Mainoo looked dangerous in spells against Leeds, although there was a very mixed reaction from supporters regarding Mount's debut performance.

One said: "Kobbie Mainoo. A real talent that will look to have a role this season upcoming. Mason Mount looked sharp on his debut too," while another wrote: "Not even looking good against a Championship team."
A third commented: "Missed an offside chance, overhit an indirect free kick, and missed Sancho with a one touch pass. Three mistakes that’ll define a half where he was absolutely immaculate."
A fourth added: "He is making some very nice passes and his pressing is good. Should have scored that chip."
Ahead of kick-off, manager Erik ten Hag explained what Mount will bring to the United set-up in the coming months.
