Jude Bellingham is 'worth more than six Euro 2024 squads combined' as values revealed

England have the most expensive squad in the competition, according to stats.

Jude Bellingham is worth more than six Euro 2024 squads, according to a new study, with England having the most expensive squad in this summer's competition.

The 20-year-old midfielder, who joined Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund last summer for an initial £88.5 million, is in contention to win the Ballon d'Or after a superb campaign for club and country.

He notched 23 goals and 12 assists for Carlo Ancelotti's side in all competitions, including three in the Champions League – a competition he lifted for the first time this month.

As a result of his form, Bellingham's market value has rocketed. A report from Safebettingsites estimate the former Birmingham City midfielder as being worth £153 million.

If that valuation is accurate, then the England international is worth more than the total squad value of six different countries – Romania (£78m), Albania (£95m), Slovenia (£123m), Slovakia (£133m), Georgia (£136m) and Hungary (£140m).

As mentioned earlier, England also have the most expensive squad at Euro 2024. In fact, Gareth Southgate's side is worth five times as much as Serbia's ahead of their Group C opener.

Their most expensive player is Bellingham, while their least valuable is Newcastle defender Kieran Trippier, who is worth £8.5 million, according to the report.

Kylian Mbappe is France's most expensive player at £153 million, which is the same value as Real Madrid teammate Bellingham, while Olivier Giroud is the lowest value player at just £2.5 million.

Rafael Leao is Portugal''s priciest player at £77 million and after lifting the Premier League last season with Manchester City, Spain midfielder Rodri is valued at £102 million.

Romania, meanwhile, have the least valuable squad at Euro 2024 – worth just £78 million.

As you can see in the graphic above, underdogs Scotland have a total value of £177 million, which is the eighth-lowest at the tournament and seven times lower than England’s.

Poland sit just ahead of Steve Clarke's side, with Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior being listed as their most valuable player.
