Jamie Carragher has slammed Gary Neville and Wayne Rooney for their 'nonsense' take following England's 2-1 win over the Netherlands at Euro 2024.
The Netherlands took an early lead in Dortmund on Wednesday through youngster Xavi Simons, who dispossessed Declan Rice and unleashed an absolute bullet from range.
The Dutch opener appeared to be just what Gareth Southgate's men needed, as just like in the quarter-final the three lions bounced back in efficient fashion.

Just 11 minutes after falling behind Harry Kane got England level from the penalty spot, following a lengthy and rather controversial VAR check on a late challenge from Denzel Dumfries.
The Three Lions continued to dominate the match with Ronald Koeman's men only really causing problems through set pieces, with Jordan Pickford forced into a decent second-half save by Virgil Van Dijk.
England eventually got what they deserved as super-sub Ollie Watkins fired the ball into the bottom corner with the clock at 89.59 to send England to the final.

Following the match Gary Neville got rather caught up in the moment and agreed with Wayne Rooney when discussing England's captain Harry Kane.
The former United defender claimed the Bayern Munich striker is 'England's greatest ever player', agreeing with his former teammate Rooney.
The quote was shared to Sky Sports' Instagram account and it didn't take long for Jamie Carragher to call the pair out over the claim.
"I love Harry Kane but that's absolute nonsense from the two of you!!", he commented on Instagram.

Kane is England's outright top goalscorer with 66 goals in just 97 caps, but the 30-year-old has come under heavy scrutiny this tournament for his positioning and movement.
Despite his critics, Kane has still netted three times this tournament making him England's highest-ever scorer in knock-out games with nine goals.
