England fans have come up with a wildcard suggestion for a player Thomas Tuchel will recall once he is officially appointed as the country's new manager.
Following on from strong links to Manchester United, news broke on Tuesday evening that Tuchel had agreed to become Gareth Southgate's permanent replacement after a "rapid conclusion" to negotiations.
With a press conference scheduled for Wednesday, Tuchel is poised to become England's third ever foreign manager - joining Sven-Goran Eriksson and Fabio Capello.
He has been out of work since leaving Bayern Munich at the end of last season and is set to sign an 18-month contract which will commence on 1 January 2025.

Fans have already expressed hope that Tuchel will bring out-of-favour Marcus Rashford back into the fold after and get the best out of him.
But there is another surprise shout for who supporters think could get a second crack.
Callum Hudson-Odoi played 46 times for Tuchel at Chelsea in the 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons.
The German was demanding of the winger and once said "he needs to play the next 250 games on the highest level" to complete a turnaround at Chelsea.

Hudson-Odoi had to deal a lot of "shouting" from Tuchel on the touchline and was even subbed off 25 minutes after being brought on in one instance.
But he previously told the Daily Mail that the 51-year-old is a "very good guy" and "tactically he’s amazing".
Hudson-Odoi has been capped three times by England and became the youngest player to play in a competitive fixture for the Three Lions when he entered the fray against the Czech Republic aged 18 years and 135 days.

Linked with an international allegiance switch to Ghana in the past, the Nottingham Forest star has been named as an outside bet to get a look in Tuchel's England plans.
One user commented: "Callum Hudson-Odoi was used 46x at Chelsea under Thomas Tuchel, 2nd most behind Frank Lampard (52). He’s about to turn him into Prime Neymar for England - Wildcard shout."
A second said: "CHO hive, WE ARE BACK."

A third user assessed: "May be more difficult for MGW to get back in to the England squad but Hudson-Odoi’s chances have definitely increased."
A fourth simply added: "We're back babyyy."
