England manager Gareth Southgate has confirmed that one player will still with the Three Lions squad despite being omitted from the Euro 2024 squad.
Southgate had until Friday to submit his final 26-man squad to UEFA for Euro 2024, cut down from his provisional 33-man contingent named last month.
The identities of the players set to miss out were reported by numerous outlets earlier today, with Jack Grealish, Harry Maguire, Jarell Quansah, Curtis Jones, James Trafford, Jarrad Branthwaite and James Maddison all excluded.

In Maguire's case, the Manchester United star has failed to sufficiently recover from a calf injury in time for the tournament, and underwent an individual training programme on Thursday.
England confirmed their final squad on Thursday evening.
Four Crystal Palace players have been selected - the most representation from any single club - while Maguire's United team-mate Luke Shaw has got the nod despite fitness concerns due to injury.

A total of 12 players could make their tournament debuts in Germany, with the experienced names of Grealish and Maguire joining the likes of Jordan Henderson, Marcus Rashford and Ben Chilwell on the sidelines.
England get their Euro 2024 campaign underway on June 16, when they take on Serbia in Gelsenkirchen.
Now, Southgate has revealed that out of all the players that were omitted from the squad, Jarell Quansah will be staying on for Friday's friendly against Iceland.
He said: "Jarell has stayed with us.

"I think he's not had an experience of an England international at Wembley, so that will be great for him to be with us for the game.
"We'll go from there. Hopefully we don't need to call anyone else in."
Speaking about the reactions from individual players to hearing they would not be travelling to Germany, Southgate commented: "All the players took the news really respectfully. Of course, all players will think they should be in, and that's why they are top players. They have that self-belief and mindset.

"The fact is we have some players who have been playing extremely well in the league all season.
"We just felt other players had stronger seasons, particularly in the last six months or so."
