A supercomputer has rated England’s chances of winning the European Championships in Germany this summer.
On Tuesday, Jude Bellingham netted a stoppage-time equaliser to earn a depleted England side a deserved 2-2 draw against Belgium.
The Three Lions claimed the draw just days after falling to a tepid 1-0 defeat to Brazil at Wembley.

Against Belgium, an injury crisis provided manager Gareth Southgate an opportunity to field several fringe players, with Ivan Toney, Kobbie Mainoo, and Ezri Konsa all impressing on their first England starts.
However, questions remain about Southgate’s suitability as England manager, with the 53-year-old having recorded just seven wins, seven draws and 11 defeats against top 10 nations heading into the tournament.
Despite an inauspicious March international break, according to OCB Scores’ supercomputer England are the favourites to win Euro 2024. The Three Lions have been given a 34.4 per cent chance of winning the tournament outright.

Using historical data, odds and predicted models, as well as factors such as previous tournament performance and home advantage, England have been tipped to win a first men’s tournament since 1966.
Meanwhile, France are second favourites, having been given a 28.3 per cent chance of winning the Euros. Meanwhile, hosts Germany have a 13.5 per cent chance.
Holders Italy have just a 0.8 per cent chance of retaining the famous Henri Delaunay Cup, while Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain and Portugal are also among the favourites.

A spokesperson for OCB Scores said: “Despite looking less than convincing during the international break, England remain the favourites to win Euro 2024 ahead of serial winners France and Germany.
“The Supercomputer is simulated 1,000 times to account for anomalous results and ensure accuracy, so Gareth Southgate’s men can confidently enter the tournament as favourites.
“Germany had a strong international break, beating France and the Netherlands in March, so they are certainly ones to watch given how the vociferous home crowd will get behind their heroes when they begin their campaign against Scotland on June 14.”
