Gareth Southgate could be set to call up a surprise name to England's 2024 squad, according to reports.
Southgate must name 23 players for the summer showpiece in Germany and has already said he will pick an expanded, provisional squad on 21 May.
The squad must then be whittled down to 23 on 7 June, with the former Middlesbrough boss having some very difficult decisions to make given the sheer amount of options of his disposal.
But James Nursey from The Mirror is reporting that a shock Championship player could find himself on the plane in June.

22-year-old goalkeeper Carl Rushworth is a leading contender to be included after a fine season on loan at Swansea City.
The Swans are languishing in 14th place but Rushworth, on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion, has been one of their performers.
England's goalkeeping coach, Martyn Margetson, is also on the backroom staff at Swansea and has worked closely with Rushworth.
He previously spent time on loan at Lincoln and Walsall and only recently earned a call-up to the England Under 21's.

But he could be fast-tracked into the senior side due to a goalkeeping crisis.
Jordan Pickford is a shoo-in for the No.1 spot once again but the situation further down the pecking order is less than ideal.
Crystal Palace's Sam Johnstone has had elbow surgery which looks set to rule him out of the tournament, while Newcastle's Nick Pope dislocated his shoulder in December.

Aaron Ramsdale is struggling for regular game-time at Arsenal, with David Raya firmly first-choice under Mikel Arteta.
James Trafford, called up in the last international break, his lost his place at Burnley in recent times.
Dean Henderson and Jack Butland are other potential options but Rushworth could be a wildcard entry and is competent with his feet in addition to being a fine shotstopper.
