Declan Rice was involved in a rather awkward exchange when arriving to England duty this week and its had fans in stitches.
The England squad have linked up for the first time since Gareth Southgate left his post as manager, with former under 21s manager Lee Carsley taking over duties as first team manager.
Carsley named a rather surprising squad for the Nations League fixtures against Ireland and Finland with former Man United man Angel Gomes joining Morgan Gibbs-White, Tino Livramento and Noni Madueke as newcomers to the team.

Speaking on his selections, Carsley said: "Looking at the squad, I've worked with the majority of them, whether it be when I was assisting or managing the Under-21s. I also wanted to get the staff around me that know how I work and how I want the camp to run. The players who have been called up are really exciting and they were great phone calls to make."
The team arrived at St George's Park this week to begin preparation for their upcoming games, but Arsenal's Declan Rice had a rather unfortunate start to his week with the squad.
As Rice arrived he was greeted by a member of the England staff who went in for a hug, however, the Arsenal defender completely pied the staff member and tried to hand her his passport.

"I've been stitched up here that's going to be on TikTok and YouTube and that cause I've gone to give the passport and she's gone for the hug," he said laughing.
As expected, the awkward moment hasn't gone unnoticed with fans who shared the second hand embarrassment.
One fan wrote: "Hands down the most awkward thing i’ve ever seen."
"He knew straight away haha," another fan commented.
