Ella Toone and Alessia Russo were spotted reading Germany's tactics note during the latter stages of Sunday's European Championship final – and fans proceeded to make the scene into a meme.
After 56 years of hurt, England lifted their first piece of major silverware since 1966 on Sunday night after Sarina Wiegman's side beat their great rivals in a dramatic final.
Ella Toone, who was brought on in the second half by Wiegman, opened the scoring with a wonderful chip at Wembley.
Germany forward Lina Magull equalised with a well-worked team goal and when the showpiece event went to extra-time, both teams threatened in equal measure.

But Manchester City forward Chloe Kelly poked home in the 110th minute to score her first international goal and the game's winner.
Moments later, Germany's Felicitas Rauch was replaced by midfielder Lena Lattwein, who proceeded to pass on a note from manager Martina Voss-Tecklenburg to her teammates.
Both Ella Toone and Alessia Russo decided to have a cheeky look at the note as it was being passed around – and fans thought they'd jokingly speculate as to what the message said.
BBC pundit and former England international Alex Scott was in tears after the full-time whistle.

"This is the moment in English football," she said. "Back in 2018 we were begging (Premier League) clubs to host games for these championships and many said no. I hope they’re watching now… they never saw the vision.
"This is a dream, an absolute dream,' she added. "This a dream for every young girl that dreamt of playing football. It's incredible. Every single player has played their part. The way teams play as a whole determines their success."
Fellow pundit Ian Wright called for more money to be pumped into the women's game.

"We need to get more money into the women's game and start to really (get exposure for) the women's game. I love them. I love the girls."
He added: "We've seen politicians and brands jump on what they've done because of how well England have done. This game needs continuous support for it to grow. We've seen what's happened with the people that didn't have the opportunity."
