Dusan Vlahovic’s agent explained why the star turned down Arsenal for Juventus last season.
The Serbian striker turned down lucrative offers from Arsenal and other Premier League sides to sign for the Italian giants in January 2022 for £80million (£69.98million).
The 22-year-old has endured a season plagued by niggling injuries but has still contributed a respectable seven goals and two assists in 15 games in all competitions

Meanwhile, Arsenal are flying high, five points clear at the top of the Premier League and while striker Gabriel Jesus has performed well for Mikel Arteta’s side his lack of goals has occasionally been a source of criticism.
Why Vlahovic snubbed the Gunners
Vlahovic’s agent explained why the striker snubbed Arsenal for Juventus 11 months ago.
Darko Ristic told La Gazzetta Dello Sport: “It is true that there were many other clubs interested, but Juventus are Juventus, one of the biggest clubs in the world.

“It seemed like the best option from the start and I haven’t changed my mind on that.”
Vlahovic for Serbia
Brazil and Serbia have been drawn into the same World Cup group, which means Vlahovic and club teammate Danilo will battle it out in their first game of the tournament.
Speaking about facing the Serbian star, Danilo told Football Italia: “Vlahovic has incredible potential, he showed it at Fiorentina and Juventus.

“He is improving and is dangerous because he has personality.”
Man Utd links
With Juventus in turmoil and likely to not qualify for next year’s Champions League Vlahovic has been linked with a move to Manchester United.
Of course, Man Utd are also in turmoil in light of forward Cristiano Ronaldo’s tell-all interview with TalkTV in which the Portugal star is deeply critical of the club, his manager Erik ten Hag, and owners the Glazers.

With the five-time Ballon d'Or winner almost certain to leave in January, the Telegraph claimed that Man Utd have made signing a new striker their priority.
The report claims Red Bull Salzburg’s Benjamin Sesko is “widely admired” among Man Utd’s hierarchy while Vlahovic is deemed a tangible alternative to the Slovenian.
