Liverpool are in talks to sign Dominik Szoboszlai who is considered to be “as talented as Erling Haaland”.
The Athletic’s David Ornstein claimed that Liverpool met with Szoboszlai's representatives this week to discuss a potential summer transfer.
According to the publication, the midfielder has a €70million (£60million) release clause in his RB Leipzig contract.

However, while Liverpool have already begun exploring the possibility of signing the attacking midfielder, there is “an acceptance within the club” that it will be “very difficult to get a deal done”.
A potential deal would be further complicated should the 22-year-old’s release clause expire, which Sky Germany claim is on June 30 (Friday).
Szoboszlai has attracted interest from the Premier League after an impressive season at Leipzig, who he joined from Red Bull Salzburg in 2021.
The Hungary international netted ten times and provided 13 assists in 46 appearances for the Bundesliga club last season.

Former Leipzig and Salzburg boss Jesse Marsch insisted that Szoboszlai was just as talented as Haaland - a player who netted 52 goals in all competitions last term.
Speaking to the Bundesliga website three weeks ago, Marsch, who also coached Haaland at Salzburg, said: "As talent goes, there aren't many better players that can play his position.
“Some are strong, some are technical, some are good tactically, and some can defend well or run a lot.
“However, Dominik is special because he has all of these skills combined. Dominik is just as talented as Erling Haaland."

Meanwhile back in January Leipzig manager Marco Rose said: "Now we're seeing the real Szoboszlai.
“He's an unbelievably ambitious player, who wants to win. His shooting is exceptional, especially from range. I hope he can continue this way."
