The return of the Premier League after the international break sees Chelsea head across London to face Crystal Palace.
It has been a tough start to the season for the Blues so far, and they sit in 8th place after the first 7 rounds of the campaign. The two-time Champions League winners already find themselves 8 points off the league leaders Arsenal, although they do have a game in hand on the Gunners.
A series of lacklustre displays led the club’s new owner, Todd Boehly, to replace Thomas Tuchel with Graham Potter, and the Englishman is set to take charge of his first Premier League as Chelsea manager this afternoon.

The Eagles have also had a less than impressive opening to the campaign, and they are sitting in 16th place, only two points off the relegation zone.
Patrick Viera’s men will need to improve on the performances they have offered so far this year if they are to reach the heights he intends on hitting.
Neither side has played a Premier League game in 4 weeks, so it remains to be seen whether this hiatus has created the opportunity for either side to turn around their season.

Chelsea fans will be glad to know that Potter is in a similar situation, and his star midfielder N'golo Kante has now recovered from a thigh injury that kept him out for a number of weeks.
Edouard Mendy and Christian Pulisic are also set to fight off fitness concerns and should be available for selection.
