PSG vs the Riyadh All-Star XI was the friendly that had it all.
The French giants triumphed 5-4 in the end but that remarkable scoreline doesn't tell even half of the story.
The game was characterised by an unbelievable intensity, some flaring tempers and a brilliant atmosphere at the King Fahd Stadium, an arena I'm sure we'll see more of in years to come.
But headlines were written before a ball was even kicked, when Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos exchanged words in the tunnel.

It looks like the Portuguese superstar was warning Ramos that he still had one of his earrings in.
Footballers aren't allowed to wear any kind of jewellery on the pitch as it could harm other players.

After the warning was delivered, both players broke out into laughter.
It's no surprise to see Ramos and Ronaldo getting on so well.
The pair were teammates for several years at Real Madrid and enjoyed incredible domestic and European success together.
However, there was speculation that the duo weren't on speaking terms for a long time after Luka Modric's surprise Ballon d'Or win in 2018.

According to the Spanish outlet Marca, Ramos and a few of his then-Madrid teammates didn't like Ronaldo's reaction to the Croatian's triumph and started to distance themselves from him in the dressing room.
Tonight's events though suggest that any kind of rift between the two has well and truly healed.
Ronaldo and Ramos had plenty more to smile about at full-time.

While the former bagged a fantastic first-half brace, the latter scored the goal which gave PSG a 3-2 lead right at the start of the second half.
It was a lead the Parisians regained thanks to late strikes by Kylian Mbappe and Hugo Ekitike, whose finish was one Ronaldo would have been proud of.
If you enjoyed seeing Ronaldo and Ramos back together as much as I did, you may be in luck.
There are talks that the Portuguese star's new employers Al Nassr are looking at the Spanish centre-back.
Advert
According to the Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, PSG and Ramos haven't opened talks about extending his stay in France, with Marca claiming that the Saudi side consider the defender to be key to helping the game evolve on that side of the world.
So who knows- we might not have seen the last of Ramos and Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia.
