Cristiano Ronaldo was once 'mocked' by pop star Shakira during a game - but he made her regret it just moments later.
The Portugal superstar lined up for Real Madrid in their 2011 Copa del Rey final against bitter rivals Barcelona.

With the game locked at 0-0 in extra time, Ronaldo had a chance to open the scoring but dragged his shot wide.
Cameras then panned to the crowd and spotted Shakira, who was the partner of Blaugrana defender Gerard Pique at the time, laughing.
Ronaldo must've taken note. Within five minutes, he'd risen high above Adriano to head home what would be the winning goal.
Real Madrid's coaching staff leapt up from their chairs as Ronaldo wheeled away in celebration.

Shakira was then seen with her hands over her mouth and looking like she'd seen a ghost.
Madrid won the competition and it came as a shock, considering it was in the middle of Pep Guardiola's remarkable run as Barcelona manager.
Fans have reacted to the clip going viral again and it proves why you never count Ronaldo out.
One commented: "She was destroyed in seconds."

Another said: "This was like when Thanos stunned the Avengers."
A third put: "What a performance this was from Ronaldo."
It wasn't the last time Shakira would have her heart broken by a Barca result.
Her reaction to their famous collapse against Liverpool in the Champions League back in 2019 emerged online.

The 44-year-old told her children Barcelona wouldn't let a 3-0 aggregate lead slip - but we all know what happened next.
A brace each from Georginio Wijnaldum and Divock Origi saw the Reds go 4-0 up on the night and eventually win the tie.
Pique and Shakira confirmed their separation earlier this month after 11 years together.
The couple met on the set of 'Waka Waka (Time for Africa)', the official song of the 2010 World Cup.

In 2011, the pair entered a romantic relationship and they have two children together.
A statement reads: "We regret confirming that we're splitting up. For the welfare of our children, which is our top priority, we ask for respect for our privacy. Thank you for understanding."
