Cristiano Ronaldo was once interviewed by superstar rapper Lil Wayne and it honestly has to be seen to be believed.
Back in 2014, the duo linked up while Ronaldo was in the United States with Real Madrid for an episode of Wayne’s 'Weezy Wednesday' YouTube series.

The pair are hanging out in a Los Angeles hotel room along with mutual friends and yes, we're aware how much of that sounds like an AI programme gone rogue.
If you've ever wanted to hear Ronaldo say 'Young Money' in homage to Wayne, the video below is right up your alley.
At the time, Wayne was reportedly set to launch his own sports management company and Ronaldo was identified as the headline athlete.

TMZ reported Wayne would become Ronaldo's go-to man for all branding and marketing opportunities stateside.
An article claimed: "Weezy has been wanting to get into the sports management game for a while and has had his sights set on the Team Portugal stud… not just because he’s a huge sports star, but because they’re friends."
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner quickly shot that down on Twitter however and said his team would be remaining the same.
Ronaldo also helped launch rapper Euro's single, titled 'July'. So there was a purpose for their meeting at least.

It hasn't stopped fans on social media pointing out how uncomfortable Ronaldo looked as the global icons chatted. Watch the full thing to judge for yourself.
There's a LOT of laughing from Ronaldo, isn't there? Maybe a case of just smile and wave?
One person said: "This is the most random moment in history lmao.

Another commented: "Ronaldo is fake laughing and thinking 'I'm never doing this again'."
A third put: "Cristiano moving like me when my friends leave me with people I don't know at a party."
While another added: "This is the most GOATED interview ever - how did I not know this s**t existed."

Wayne would eventually launch Young Money APAA Sports in 2016 and has a number of NFL players signed to the company.
Ronaldo, meanwhile, is still regarded as one of the world's best players and returned to Manchester United in 2021.
He is yet to score a goal this season, however.
