Cristiano Ronaldo praised controversial psychologist Jordan Peterson and admitted he was a 'big fan' during his interview with Piers Morgan.
The Manchester United forward posted a picture of himself with the controversial right-wing psychologist on Instagram back in September.
Peterson has developed a large fanbase online for his divisive social views, including race and climate change.

It didn't stop Ronaldo from sharing an image of the duo on Instagram captioned: "Nice to see you, my friend!"
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner delved deeper into his relationship with Peterson during the second part of his explosive sit-down with TalkTV.
"I’m a huge fan of his," Ronaldo admitted. "I read his book, 12 Rules, and I felt that he’s a really interesting guy and I love to meet smart people. Fantastic man. And I learned a lot. Some advice that he gives me…

"We had a nice strategic conversation. Not only for the moment of my life, not only for football, because my life is not all football. I am a businessman. I have many important things in my life.
"And when you are surrounded with these people with you, people that make your life more interesting, they reach something in your daily life.
"I appreciate it because it’s that kind of people that think outside the box, which I appreciate. We had a nice conversation, strategic conversation."

Peterson claims he helped Ronaldo navigate a tricky period in his life. During his appearance on 'Piers Morgan: Uncensored' back in September, Morgan praised the 60-year-old for offering Ronaldo his support.
Ronaldo and partner Georgina Rodriguez announced the tragic death of one of their newborn twins in April.
The 37-year-old went on to admit he could write his own book, like Peterson, to motivate his loyal fans.

He continued: "Why not? For the future, probably… I want to educate not only my family but my fans.
"As you know, I have a lot, millions of fans. Probably for the future I want to do some book. But not the type of book… But to help people; how to be, how to maintain longevity."
Ronaldo took aim at United manager Erik ten Hag as well as their owners, the Glazer family, elsewhere in his interview.
United have since released a statement confirming they've initiated 'appropriate steps' to Ronaldo's interview.
