Cristiano Ronaldo proved he hasn’t lost his elite mentality during his stunning four-goal haul for Al Nassr against Al Wehda on Thursday.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner passed the 500-league goal milestone in his prolific playing career with a ruthless display in the Saudi Pro League.
Ronaldo scored a first-half brace before he completed his hat-trick from the spot-kick early in the second half at the King Abdulaziz Stadium.

Only eight minutes on from his penalty, the 38-year-old Portuguese forward grabbed his fourth of the match as Al Nassr steamrolled Al Wehda.
Al Nassr’s thumping victory ensured they remained top of the Saudi Pro League ahead of Al Shabab, who are level on points but have played one match more.
During his goalscoring rampage, fans took to social media and shared footage of two key moments from the match which proved Ronaldo hadn’t lost his touch.

The first came when Ronaldo, who now has four goals in five appearances for Al Nassr, celebrated emphatically after he scored his side’s opener against Al Wehda.
The other instance came towards the end of the match after the Manchester United and Real Madrid legend attempted to assist his Al Nassr teammate.
Ronaldo received the ball and charged into the box before playing a low pass across the face of goal, only for Abdulrahman Ghareeb being unable to reach it.

The ball rolled out of play as a visibly devastated Ronaldo was spotted on his knees and his head on the ground ruing the missed opportunity to make it 5-0 for his side.
“At 38 to still have this mentality,” one fan said.
