Jurgen Klopp is set to hand Cody Gakpo his Liverpool debut in the club's FA Cup third-round fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to a report.
The Netherlands star joined the Reds from PSV Eindhoven earlier this month for a fee in the region of £40million.
Gakpo arrived after an impressive half-season at PSV where he netted some 13 goals, and provided a further 17 assists.

The 23-year-old, labelled “dangerous” by Arsenal goalkeeper Matt Turner earlier this season, has signed a contract that will keep him on Merseyside until 2028.
And it now seems Gakpo will make his first appearance in a Liverpool shirt this weekend.
Gakpo to feature against Wolves
The Netherlands international is in contention for Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup tie with Wolves at Anfield.

Indeed journalist James Pearce claimed that Gakpo would make his Reds bow at the weekend having secured his work permit.
Writing on Twitter Pearce said: “With his work permit secured and registration documents complete, Cody Gakpo can now train with his new team-mates and is expected to make his debut v Wolves in the FA Cup on Saturday.”
The winger’s debut will come at a crucial time for Liverpool, who have been in atrocious form this term.
Indeed, Klopp’s side need some extra firepower, with £85million summer signing Darwin Nunez having blown hot and cold in his first months at Anfield, and Mohamed Salah struggling to reach his usual high standards.

A good performance in the FA Cup can help Gakpo stake his claim on Liverpool’s left flank, with Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota having both been injured for months.
