Chelsea have reportedly received an offer for Conor Gallagher amid the uncertainties surrounding the midfielder’s future.
According to The Times, Crystal Palace have made a bid in the region of £27 million as they step up their efforts to resign the 22-year-old from the Stamford Bridge club.
Gallagher was loaned to Selhurst Park last season and produced some impressive performances, he scored eight goals and assisted three during his loan spell with Palace.

As a result, he was award Palace’s Player of the Year award and has attracted interests from multiple top flight clubs including Everton and Newcastle United.
It has been reported that Palace boss Patrick Vieira has a close relationship with Gallagher, he wants to make sure that a move to Selhurst Park will improve the midfielder’s chances of earning a place in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the World Cup, which is due to start later on in the year in Qatar.

Despite his future being up in the air, Gallagher has started Chelsea’s last two Premier League games, against Leeds and Leicester.
However, he was sent off inside 28 minutes against the Foxes after collecting two yellow cards. Thanks to a brace from summer signing Raheem Sterling, the Blues managed to hold on for a much needed 2-1 win. After the match, he apologised to his teammates and fans.
He wrote on his Instagram account: “Proud of the team for digging deep today and winning with 10 men.
“Personally, I want to apologise to my teammates, staff and the fans.

“I take full responsibility for the rash decision leaving them with a huge challenge for the rest of the game. Thankfully, they came through.”
Blues boss Thomas Tuchel also spoke about Gallagher’s red card after the match.
He said: “I think we were in total control, had big chance, more than a chance with Ruben [Loftus-Cheek], had the penalty and marginal offside but it looked like not offside on our mobile devices. Suddenly, you're one man down with Conor.

“We were sloppy on the set-pieces and concede on the counter-attack. It was a bad decision from Conor and it gives you a disadvantage. He is responsible for what he did and of course he knows it was a huge mistake.”
With just a few days left before the summer transfer window slams shut, it remains to be seen whether Gallagher will move away from Stamford Bridge.
Next up for Chelsea is a trip to the St.Mary's stadium where they will take on Southampton.
