Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp joked he would only discuss Chelsea's spending in the January transfer window if he had a lawyer present.
The Blues signed eight players in the January transfer window, with their final piece of business coming hours before Tuesday's deadline.
Chelsea completed the signing of Enzo Fernandez from Benfica for £107 million. It took owner Todd Boehly's spending over £300 million and broke the British record fee paid for a player.

Chelsea ended up shelling out more than every club in the Italian, German, French and Spanish leagues combined.
Klopp's not afraid to express his opinions about money in football. The Reds boss often speaks about the lack of financial power his side has compared to Chelsea, Newcastle United and Manchester City.
He opted for a new strategy during his pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday's clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

When asked about their spending, he replied: "I say nothing without my lawyer! No, I'm joking.
"I don't understand this part of the business, like what you can do and what you cannot do. They are all really good players, so from that point of view, congratulations.
"I don't understand how it's possible, but it's obviously not for me to explain how it works. It will happen at some point that they will play well together, but how quickly, I don't know."

In addition to Fernandez, Chelsea added David Datro Fofana, Andrey Santos, Benoit Badiashile, Mykhailo Mudryk, Noni Madueke and Malo Gusto to their squad.
Felix is on a season-long loan from Atletico Madrid, while Gusto will join in the summer after spending the rest of this season with Lyon.
Chelsea are currently 10th in the Premier League and 10 points off the top four. Manager Graham Potter spoke at length about a manic month of business ahead of Friday's game with Fulham.

He touched on the signing of Fernandez, who won the World Cup with Argentina and was named Best Young Player at the tournament last year.
Potter explained: "We were aware of him before the World Cup, we knew of his qualities.
"He was one of those players we were thinking about and then we watched him at the World Cup and thought this could be a bit more expensive than we thought.

"He's determined, humble, you can see how he plays football he has personality and character. He's played so many big games already at such a young age and moved away from his family and all that comes with it.
"He is a determined young man who knows what he wants, knows the game, wants to help the team and I look forward to getting to know him."
