Chelsea fans were in unison as they slammed the performance of January signing Mykhailo Mudryk during their defeat against Aston Villa.
On Saturday evening, Graham Potter’s men were looking to close the gap between themselves and the Premier League’s top four with a win against Unai Emery’s resurgence Villa side.
However, it was the visitors who made the better start as the red-hot Ollie Watkins gave Villa the lead after 18 minutes.

The Englishman latched onto a poor header by Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella before expertly lobbing over Kepa Arrizabalaga.
In the second half, John McGinn produced something out of the very top drawer to make it 2-0 in the 56th minute.
Despite the whole team playing in below-par performances, it was Mudryk who got the most.

The £88.5 million man started for Potter but wasted two glorious chances.
At 0-0, the Ukrainian snatched a chance over the bar, minutes after Villa went 1-0 up, Mudryk was played through.
One-on-one against Emiliano Martinez, Mudryk took a tame shot straight into the Argentine’s grasp.
After failing to influence the match in the second half, Potter decided to take the winger off in the 56th minute.
Fans were furious as they took to social media and showed their discontent over Mudryk’s glaring miss and overall performance.

A third fan added: “100M scam, Mudryk is awful”
Someone else wrote: “Is Mudryk competition winner? He’s an awful footballer. Didn’t Chelsea spend best bit of £100m on him?”

Whilst a fifth added: “Mudryk actually struggles to pass the ball. He looks awful.”
As a result of the defeat by Villa, Chelsea have dropped to 11th place in the Premier League.
Next up for the Blues will be a huge match against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.
