Fans think Chelsea couldn't resist a dig at Arsenal after confirming Jorginho's move to North London on deadline day.
Having seen Mohamed Elneny pick up a knee injury and allowed Albert Sambi Lokonga to join Crystal Palace, the Gunners were on the hunt for a new sitting midfielder in the January window.
Multiple bids for Moises Caicedo were knocked back by Brighton and after the league leaders eventually admitted defeat, they turned their attentions to Italy international Jorginho.

A £12 million deal was wrapped up fairly swiftly for Jorginho, who was set to become a free agent in the summer.
He has penned an 18-month contract, with the option to extend for another year if he impresses. Jorginho racked up 213 appearances for Chelsea and was the Blues' vice-captain at the time of his exit.
But in their official "Thank you, Jorginho" statement on his departure, Chelsea couldn't resist mentioning their hammering of Arsenal in the Europa League final in 2019.

“Many of Jorginho’s best performances came in European competition," the club wrote.
"He starred in Baku at the end of his first season when we thumped Arsenal 4-1, and the midfielder played a pivotal role en route to Champions League glory in 2021, starting all but one of our knockout games as we conceded just twice and shut out Manchester City in the Porto final.”
And typically, fans jumped on that huge dig regarding what went down in Baku.

One user wrote: "Class statement thumping Arsenal and talking about European glory."
A second commented: "Using 'thumped' re Arsenal when it’s the club he’s moving to is hilarious. Zero respect."
An Arsenal supporter fumed: Did we see such provocative language when Giroud left us for them? Of course not. There is class, then there is classless, then, right a the bottom plumbing the depths, is Chelsea."
Another added: "Chelsea taking the piss with this statement mentioning Baku."

A fifth said: "If I’m being honest, this statement has angered me much more than the signing. Chelsea a completely classless trashy outfit right to the very end. Just an odious club."
Jorginho becomes the latest player to swap Chelsea for Arsenal, following the likes of William Gallas, Petr Cech and Willian.
“I was a bit surprised, but I took the opportunity of this amazing challenge,” Jorginho said, after the deal was completed three hours before the deadline.

“It’s an important shirt. It’s an amazing club."
The former Napoli man will wear the No.20 shirt for Arsenal.
