A shocked Joao Cancelo found out about Julian Nagelsmann's 'sacking' as Bayern Munich manager DURING his post-match interview following Portugal's game on Thursday.
Cancelo, on loan at Bayern from Manchester City for the rest of the season, started and scored in his national team's 4-0 win over Liechtenstein.
He opened the scoring in the eighth minute after he struck home a volley from outside the box, with Bernardo Silva and Cristiano Ronaldo (x2) also getting on the score-sheet.

Portugal resume their Euro 2024 qualifiers on Sunday when they take on Luxembourg. But when Cancelo returns to Germany, he'll report to another manager following the reported sacking of Nagelsmann.
Bombshell reports in Germany claim the 35-year-old has been relieved of his duties at the Allianz Arena despite leading them to the Champions League quarter-finals.
Cancelo, who was brought to the Bundesliga giants by Nagelsmann, discovered the news midway through his post-match interview after representing Portugal.

Speaking to Sport TV, he admitted he was caught off guard by the news of Nagelsmann. He began: "Pfft. Pfft. I didn’t know, I didn’t know."
The 28-year-old added: "I’ve only found out now, I know I won’t find Nagelsmann when I return to Munich –-he wanted me to Bayern, I’d like to thank him."
He was also made aware of reports that Thomas Tuchel is in line to replace Nagelsmann as he referenced the Champions League final in 2021.

"I will try to fit into the new manager’s plans as best I can," he continued.
"As for Tuchel, he made me lose a Champions League final, so I hope he will win it for me this year!"
Cancelo appears set to work under his third manager at club level this season, having been coached by Pep Guardiola, Nagelsmann and now potentially Tuchel.
