Liverpool have reached an agreement with Aberdeen to sign highly rated full-back Calvin Ramsay for £6.5 million, according to The Mirror.
This deal takes the Merseysiders’ summer spending close to £100 million and is understood to conclude their incoming business in this window.
Jurgen Klopp is ready to wait to make the midfield his priority in the summer of 2023. The German boss is a well known admirer of Jude Bellingham, and could be available at that time.

Ramsay arrives to provide depth at right-back and adequate cover for Trent Alexander-Arnold, something Liverpool lacked in the second half of last season after Neco Williams went on loan to Fulham.
With the Welshman likely to depart Anfield this summer, the signing of the Aberdeen man became a priority for the club.
At just 18, Ramsay will be expected to push Alexander-Arnold in the long-term as he continues to develop on Merseyside.
The Scottish under-21 international agreed personal terms with the club last week and has now put pen to paper on a 5-year-deal that sees him tied down to North West soil until June 2027.

Experiencing a highly successful breakout season in 2021/22, Ramsay made 33 appearances, whilst scoring once for the Aberdeen first team. He was also awarded the Scottish Football Writers’ Association Young Player of the Year award for his outstanding campaign.
The youngster arrives with pedigree and will be eager to break into the Scotland first team for the first time in the coming months. He certainly won’t settle for a bit part squad role behind Alexander-Arnold in the long-run.

This deal comes days after Liverpool announced the signing of Darwin Nunez from Benfica for £85 million. The Uruguayan striker arrives to replace Sadio Mane, who is on the verge of signing for Bayern Munich.
Signing a 22-year-old and an 18-year-old indicate that Klopp is trying to lower the age profile of his squad as he looks to build the next iteration of this historic club.
