Bruno Fernandes delighted a Manchester United fan after handing out a piece of chicken following their 4-0 friendly win over Liverpool in Bangkok.
The Portuguese was walking out of the Rajamangala Stadium whilst holding a portion of chicken as his post match snack.
As he approached a fan in the crowd, Fernandes asked: “Do you want chicken?” The fan replied: “Yes”, and Fernandes said: “Take one,” before smiling as he walked away to board the coach ahead of the team’s flight to Australia for the second part of their pre season tour.

The fan who was gifted the chicken by Fernandes is known as ‘KG” from the YouTube channel United View, he was one of 50,000 in attendance to witness Erik ten Hag first match as United boss.
The match itself was a massive success for Fernandes and his team mates as they totally blew Liverpool away.
It has to be said that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp used 32 players during the match and Ten Hag started with his strongest available eleven.
United got off to the perfect start after a fine finish from Jadon Sancho gave the Red Devils the lead after 12 minutes, Fred added a second for Ten Hag’s side after half an hour with a beautiful chip that sailed over Liverpool keeper Alisson. United then made it 3-0 after Anthony Martial caught Rhys Williams off guard before putting the ball beyond Alisson.

Liverpool brought on the big guns in the 61st minute, even with the likes of Mo Salah, Virgil van Dijk and new signing Darwin Nunez on the pitch, they failed to break down the stubborn United defence. Facundo Pellistri added United’s fourth goal in the 76th minute to seal a rampant 4-0 win as the Red Devils clinched the Bangkok Century Cup.
After the match a delighted Ten Hag said his players produced a ‘brave’ performance.
The Dutchman told MUTV: “We are satisfied today because I think there was a team with great spirit. We know we are just starting and when things begin to click like the press.”

“We know we made some mistakes in pressing and conceded some chances but also we created a lot and I think our team played bravely, they were proactive and we had to work really hard to get out of some mistakes. Of course, we are happy with the first game.”
“It was not only the result. I know we have good players but we have to play as a team. We started the first game well so I am happy. Of course it will take time, believe me I have seen a lot of mistakes but I will not say [what they were].”
Ten Hag added: “But to be honest, Liverpool played with three teams and they were not at their strongest, so we are not overestimating them [our players]. We saw some really good things. What you see is we have a lot of creativity and speed in the front and we have potential.”
