David Ornstein reports that Liverpool target, Aurelien Tchouameni has reached a verbal agreement with Real Madrid, in a package worth over €100m. Monaco and Real Madrid are now finalising paperwork and the regulatory process before the official confirmation.
The Frenchman has been on Liverpool’s radar for some time now, with the 22 year-old’s striking performances for Monaco and France impressing not only the hierarchy at Anfield, but many of the other top clubs in Europe too.
Tchouameni agreeing a deal with Real Madrid will come as a bit of a kick in the teeth for the Reds, with them not only losing the Champions League to Los Blancos, but also one of their key transfer targets to the Spanish giants.
