Real Madrid are plotting a shock swap deal with Liverpool, according to stunning reports.
The transfer window is just weeks away from opening as rumours continue to swirl ahead of clubs being able to do business.
Real and Liverpool have already been closely associated with each other as Trent Alexander-Arnold continues to be linked with a sensational move to the Spanish giants amid his contract expiring at the end of the season.
Not to mention Aurelien Tchouameni, who has been linked with a switch to Anfield as Arne Slot looks to snap up a midfielder, having failed to sign a No.6 last summer.

Liverpool tried to sign Martín Zubimendi but were unable to strike a deal with the player.
Instead, Slot has opted for Ryan Gravenberch in defensive midfield, with the Dutchman making the position his own following a string of stellar performances this season.
However, according to a source in Spain, Real are exploring a swap deal involving Tchouameni and Gravenberch.
The French international's future appears to lie away from the Bernabeu as a recent report from Defensa Central states that Real could negotiate a deal that includes Gravenberch as part of the exchange.

Tchouameni is contracted until 2028 and is valued at £90 million.
As for Gravenberch, he's thought to be valued around £33 million.
But the likelihood of Liverpool selling Gravenberch to Real is very, very slim considering his performances this season.

The 22-year-old has made 19 appearances across all competitions and has been a constant figure in Slot's system as they enjoy a stunning 2024/25 campaign.
His showings for the Reds have impressed Jamie Carragher, who reckons he looks like a completely different player now.
"This happens with every new manager and every team. They come on and have an effect on a player who you maybe thought was not good enough or the last manager didn’t really like," he said on CBS Sports.
"I think that player is Gravenberch in midfield. He looks a completely different player now under this manager than he did under Jurgen Klopp, so that has been a real plus for Liverpool."
