Arsenal legend Emmanuel Petit has claimed that Gunners star William Saliba could become better than Chelsea icon John Terry.
The French centre-back, who has seven senior caps for his country, has impressed at the heart of Arsenal's backline this season.
He has formed a solid partnership with Gabriel Magalhaes, the pair recording a total of six clean sheets in 13 games.
That has helped Arsenal to top the Premier League, with Mikel Arteta's side currently two points ahead of second-placed Man City.

Saliba's defensive prowess has been on display all season, as well as his calmness and composure on the ball, swift acceleration and an ability to pick out team-mates with passes.
He is considered likely to be named in France's final World Cup squad, and could play an important role at the tournament should he be selected.
And a World Cup winner with France in 1998 has lauded the Gunners star.

Speaking to Lord Ping (quotes via Daily Mirror), Petit said: "William Saliba is amazing. He has all the qualities to do the same as John Terry.

"He's very mature, came back to Arsenal with a lot of motivation, and he's improved a lot as a human being as well as a footballer.
"Saliba was a rock against Chelsea. I wouldn't like to be a striker playing against him, because he's tough, and his confidence is really entering his game."
Saliba praised Arteta for his advice in helping him to improve his game following loan spells at Nice and Marseille.

He told Canal Plus (via Get France Football News) in September: "We spoke a bit at the beginning of the season. He was happy with what I did whilst out on loan.
"He's a very good coach, who really knows what he's doing. He is clear in everything he says. He has helped me integrate quickly into this system of play.
"Every day he gives advice to be better on the pitch."
Arsenal fans will hope that Saliba can continue his form next weekend when they take on Wolves, as they attempt to top the league table on Christmas Day for the first time since 2007.
