William Saliba's agent has been spotted at London Colney, fuelling speculation Arsenal could be about to announce his new contract.
Saliba, 22, was one of Arsenal's stand-out players from last season and is set to be rewarded with a new deal after biding his time at the Emirates.
Having joined Arsenal in a £27million move from Saint-Etienne back in 2019, Saliba had to wait three years to break into the first-team in north London. The Parisian was made to earn his stripes out on loan at his former club, as well as Nice and Marseille.

However, since returning to Arsenal last summer, Saliba has made 36 appearances in all competitions, partnering Gabriel in a stubborn central defensive partnership for much of the campaign.
Of course, Saliba's campaign was prematurely ended when he aggravated a back injury in March.
The defender missed the final 11 games of the season, which coincided with a loss of form for the then-league leaders, who eventually finished five points behind champions Manchester City.
Saliba is under contract with Arsenal until 2024. with the option of a further year, but the Gunners are keen to tie the French defender down to an improved long-term deal, having already agreed new terms with Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka.

Saliba announcement imminent?
Saliba's agent Niang Djibril has now posted a video of himself at London Colney to Instagram, suggesting an announcement on Saliba's new deal could be imminent.
Indeed, the short clip conspicuously features a pen-and-paper - the go-to props of any new contract announcement.
Djibril's Instagram story comes after transfer guru Fabrizio Romano claimed Saliba has already penned a new five-year deal with Arsenal, with the option of a further year.
