Arsenal’s summer transfer budget has been revealed as Mikel Arteta’s side look to plot another title challenge next season.
Despite having led the pack for some 248 days, the Gunners were eventually pipped to the line by Manchester City, who were claiming their third Premier League in succession.
And while Arsenal fell short in their ambition of winning their first Premier League in 19 years, the north Londoners have made immense progress this term.

With the Emirates hosting Champions League for the first time since the 2016/17 campaign, and given Arsenal will be hoping to also challenge at the top of the Premier League, the club have been tipped for a busy summer.
With several big names having been linked to an Emirates move in the coming window, a number of of players have also been connected with trabsfers away, including Granit Xhaka and in-form loanee Folarin Balogun.
Arsenal summer budget
According to Sports Mail, Arsenal have a summer transfer budget of around £180million, which could be enhanced further by money generated through sales.

Indeed, Bayer Leverkusen are looking to wrap up a deal for Xhaka, while Newcastle are reportedly hoping to secure a deal for Kieran Tierney.
The publication added that Rob Holding and Thomas Partey could also be sold to boost funds.
One player that certainly won’t be departing north London is Martin Odegaard, however. The club captain, who has claimed 15 goals and seven assists this season, has allegedly received interest from French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
Yet, the Norwegian is said to be key to Arteta’s plans and happy in London.

Declan Rice is thought to be Arsenal's primary transfer target in the summer window. The England international would reportedly cost around £100million - more than half of the Gunners’ summer budget.
The club are also said to be interested in Manchester City’s Joao Cancelo and Brighton duo Alexis Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo.
