William Saliba's agent has dropped a hint on social media suggesting that the Arsenal defender could extend his stay at the Emirates.
The Frenchman has played a crucial role in Arsenal's ascent to the top of the table this season, forming a formidable partnership with Gabriel in the heart of defence.
As a result, Mikel Arteta is understandably keen to tie the 21-year-old down to a new deal.

Gabriel Martinelli recently penned fresh terms at the club, while Bukayo Saka is also thought to have agreed a new contract.
However, there has been a degree of uncertainly surrounding Saliba’s future, with the centre-back's current deal set to expire in the summer of 2024.
Saliba's agent 'hints' at new deal
But in a boost for Gunners fans, Saliba's agent, Niang Dijbril, took to social media to droop a cryptic hint on Saliba's future.

On Instagram, Dijbril posted a blurry picture outside of the Emirates stadium, leading fans to speculate over a potential new deal.
Indeed, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claimed that Arsenal's "next priority" was to secure Saliba to a new deal, while the Italian also claimed Saliba was eager to remain in north London.
Romano tweeted: “Negotiations continue between Arsenal and William Saliba over a new contract.
“It is the next priority for the club after Saka deal almost done — I understand Saliba wants to stay.

“Talks ongoing on details/salary/structure of the deal, deal not at final stages yet.”
Arteta has since praised Saliba's attitude, claiming he has done things "the right way" since arriving at the Emirates.
Speaking during his press conference on Friday, Arteta said: “He had an immediate impact... the first two training sessions that we looked at him and thought: "There's huge potential here".
“His attitude, the way he came in and said: "I'm going to prove that I'm very good and I deserve to be here.”

“Without any looking back, or being shy - he was doing it the right way. He took out every question mark that we could have with him and gave us all the reasons to play him.”
