Newcastle legend Alan Shearer has revealed how Arsenal stars Jorginho and Leandro Trossard have impressed him since arriving at the Emirates Stadium - and made a claim about Gunners boss Mikel Arteta.
Jorginho arrived at Arsenal on deadline day in January, making the switch from London rivals Chelsea.
The Italian midfielder, who played a key role in helping his nation to Euro 2020 success, was out of contract at the Blues this summer, and it was reported that neither side held a keen interest in extending his deal.

The transfer, therefore, made sense for all parties, with Arteta having admitted his admiration for the midfielder on a number of occasions.
Jorginho made a quick impact at Arsenal, with his long-range shot hitting the crossbar and bouncing in off goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez to win the game against Aston Villa last month.
The Italian started four league matches in a row prior to Saturday's 3-2 win over Bournemouth, and has adapted seamlessly to life in north London.

Trossard, meanwhile, has also had an impressive start to his Arsenal career after joining from Brighton in January.
He has one goal and two assists from eight league appearances, and has already played a role in some key moments for his new side as they battle to win the Premier League title.

Speaking to Premier League Productions, Shearer praised both Trossard and Jorginho for the different qualities they have added to Arsenal's side since arriving.

The Premier League's record goalscorer also praised Gunners boss Arteta and sporting director Edu for bringing the duo to the club in January.
He explained (quotes via HITC): "I think [Trossard] was a really clever signing. Him and Jorginho.
"Jorginho because of his experience and know-how in these situations. Trossard, I think he's a clever player. He gives you that pace and skill.
"He certainly gives you another option, which Arsenal needed. I think they were very astute and clever signings, which is exactly what Arsenal needed."

The Gunners will hope both players continue to contribute as the season continues, with the 3-2 win over Bournemouth restoring their five-point advantage over Manchester City at the top of the table. There are 12 games still to play.
