"Not convinced" - Chris Sutton makes major Chelsea vs Arsenal prediction

Chris Sutton is “not convinced” that Arsenal will be able to secure another away win when they take on Graham Potter’s Chelsea.

Chris Sutton is “not convinced” that Arsenal will be able to secure another away win when they take on Graham Potter’s Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Mikel Arteta’s side have dazzled this season. Arsenal lead the Premier League table having won 10 of the first 12 fixtures, while they have netted an impressive 30 goals along the way.

Should the Gunners claim a win at the Bridge as expected, the gulf between them and the Blue would be a remarkable 13 points.

Chelsea’s stuttering start to the season cost Champions League-winning manager Thomas Tuchel his job, and though Graham Potter’s tenure as Blues boss started well, the club are now winless in three league games.

Indeed, last time out in the Premier League Chelsea was demolished 4-1 by Potter’s former employers, Brighton & Hove Albion.

Nevertheless, former Chelsea attacker Sutton is predicting the Blues to upset the form book - the BBC pundit has predicted a 1-1 draw.

The pundit explained: “Arsenal have won at Stamford Bridge in each of the past two seasons but I am not convinced they will make it three in a row.

“A lot depends on whether Bukayo Saka is fit for the Gunners and how Chelsea boss Graham Potter approaches the game - like one of his predecessors, Claudio Ranieri, he has been a bit of a 'Tinkerman' with his team and tactics recently.

“Overall Potter has done well though, and I don't think his side will be as bad again at the back as they were against Brighton last time out.”

Arsenal have already proven their title credentials by beating Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur this season, while the Gunners will likely travel to the Bridge with key winger Bukayo Saka available.

The 21-year-old was forced off after just 27 minutes during Sunday's 5-0 win over Nottingham Forest following a kick to the ankle, however, Arteta claimed that the England international had only missed two training sessions.
