Arsenal have received a double transfer blow following reports that Manchester United have made contact with Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi.
Mikel Arteta has seen the title slip from his grasp in recent weeks, with last weekend's 3-0 defeat to Brighton all but sealing their Premier League fate.
One of the reasons why they have fallen short is due to their lack of squad depth, with William Saliba's injury having a significant impact on the team.

In turn, the Gunners boss is likely to invest in a new defender this summer to help provide cover should a similar problem arise next season.
One of the names rumoured with a move to the Emirates is Guehi, who has been tipped to become a future England captain by Palace manager Roy Hodgson.
Meanwhile, he has the ability to play on both the left and right-hand side of defence, meaning he could replace either Saliba or Gabriel Magalhaes as emergency cover.

However, Spanish journalist Santi Aouna has dropped a worrying update, suggesting Premier League rivals Manchester United have stepped up their pursuit of the 22-year-old.
Arsenal dealt Guehi and Olise transfer blow
Erik ten Hag is thought to be in the market for defensive recruits, with both Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof rumoured with moves away from Old Trafford this summer.
And it would seem Guehi is on their list of options, with both Tottenham and Manchester United having "made enquiries about his situation", according to Aouna.

However, in a boost for all interested parties, Aouna stated that Crystal Palace would be "open to the departure of Marc Guehi", with the Englishman expected to be the subject of a mass bidding war this summer.
But that's not all, after Auona also provided an update on Michael Olise's situation.
Arsenal are among the clubs monitoring the Eagles winger's situation, claim the Daily Mail.
Although Palace have no plans to let the Frenchman leave Selhurst Park any time soon, and despite the interest around him, "Olise is happy and he will not force a departure", Aouna added.
