Arsenal are reportedly plotting a move to sign Manchester United target Jeremie Frimpong this summer - despite a warning from Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman.
Frimpong, a Manchester City academy graduate, has established a reputation as one of the most promising attacking full-backs in Europe.
In fact, he has largely played as a wing-back at Leverkusen since his arrival from Celtic in January 2021.

He scored eight goals and provided seven assists in 34 Bundesliga appearances last season, a clear sign of his attacking talents.
The Dutchman has yet to break through into the Netherlands senior setup, however, with his international appearances restricted to age group level so far.
And Koeman, who took charge of the Netherlands senior side from Louis van Gaal after last year's World Cup, has already explained the reason why.
Speaking at a press conference after the 22-year-old was not included in the squad for their most recent fixtures, he said (quotes via Goal): "No Frimpong? This is because of the system that we play in.

"He plays almost as a right winger. My right back should be able to defend well in the first place and I have my doubts about that."
Arsenal and Man Utd 'keen on Frimpong'
According to Sport Bild, Arsenal have placed Frimpong on a transfer shortlist for this summer, with the wing-back also of interest to Manchester United and their manager Erik ten Hag.
He was registered as the Bundesliga's fastest player last season, at an incredible speed of 36km/h.

The Gunners have a series of other talents they are interested in, including Jurrien Timber, Benjamin Henrichs and Joao Cancelo.
Out of the four, it is almost certain that Timber is the deal that will get completed, with the Daily Mail reporting that the Dutch centre-back has a medical at the Emirates Stadium scheduled for this weekend. He also missed Ajax training on Monday, as per Tribal Football.
Bild also report that Arsenal have contacted the representatives of RB Leipzig star Henrichs as a potential alternative defensive reinforcement.
The club retains interest in Manchester City defender Cancelo, with Bayern Munich choosing not to trigger the €70 million option to buy the Portugal star permanently after his loan spell during the second half of last season.
