Antony slipped while attempting to get past Baba Rahman in Manchester United's 3-1 FA Cup fourth round win over Reading on Saturday evening - with rival supporters laughing at his mistake online.
The winger started on the right-hand side at Old Trafford as United fielded a stronger side than many expected, given their congested fixture list.
United's only change from Wednesday's 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest in their Carabao Cup semi-final first leg was captain Harry Maguire coming in at the back in place of Lisandro Martinez.

Erik ten Hag's side managed to brush Reading aside thanks to a brace from Casemiro and rare Fred goal in the second half.
At the heart of what United did well in the second half was Antony, who provided a lovely assist for Casemiro's first goal.
He threaded the ball through to his fellow Brazil international, who dinked the ball over Joe Lumley to make it 1-0 to the home side.

The 22-year-old is starting to find his form again after a sluggish return to Premier League action following the World Cup break.
Antony was named Player of the Match for his exploits against Reading, being the only member of United's starting front three to last the whole 90 minutes.
Despite his improved performances, fans of other clubs still can't get over his £82 million price tag, given how raw his talent is.

It was summed up best at the hour mark as Antony attempted to get past Rahman out wide. He tried to beat the on-loan Chelsea full-back with body feints so he could take the ball on his predominant left foot.
Rahman stuck to Antony like glue, not affording him any space to strut his stuff. After holding on to the ball for too long, he slipped and needed Casemiro to come out wide to collect the ball.
The clip has gone viral, with over 2.2 million views at the time of writing. It's overshadowing what was a quality performance from the former Ajax man.
One person said: "He still has time to go uni."

A second put: "They signed a comedian, Antony is wonderfully hilarious and frustrating."
Someone tweeted: "Nah what is he doing?"
While another added: "Spinning merchant down the drain."
Ten Hag praised Antony's performance in a post-match interview but admitted he still has room for improvement.

"I think he's growing," he admitted to ITV. "We want him to be also more dynamic, more variable and more direct. You see today I think [it] was a lovely pass on the first goal.
"It was a good combination - a Brazilian combination, Antony and Casemiro - so we are happy with his improvement in this moment.
"But yeah there still is more to come and I think he's capable of it, I think it's big potential in him and he has to develop it every day."
