France forward Antoine Griezmann revealed that head coach Didier Deschamps evoked a sex ban for the squad during last summer's Euro 2020.
The reigning world champions face off against England on Saturday in what is the tie of the round in the World Cup quarter-finals.
Griezmann played a key role for France in 2018 and he has remained an important player throughout the years, having not missed a game since 2017 for his country.

He's started three out of the four games they've played so far, having made a late appearance in the dead rubber against Tunisia in the group stages.
But the competition so far may have been a struggle if Deschamps has chosen to enforce the same rule this time round.
The Atletico Madrid forward revealed details of the ban last year, detailing exactly what Deschamps had outlined to his squad.

"We cannot touch anyone, not even family members," Griezmann said.
"But it cannot be done otherwise. It’s tough for everyone, players and staff, but it must be accepted."
That includes his stunning wife, Erika Choperena, who he's been married to since 2017.
The pair first started dating back in 2011, having first known each other from their school days.

In his autobiography, he revealed that he had attempted to seduce her around a year and a half before she agreed to a date.
"Erika was studying in a school next to where I trained, we crossed roads a couple of times and we began to text each other," the former Barcelona man wrote in his autobiography.
"For a year and a half, I sent her messages, I tried to seduce her."

Whatever he did, it worked. As the pair have had three children -- Mia, Amaro and Alba -- all of whom share the same birth date, in what is a remarkable coincidence (or is it?).
The 32-year-old is also hugely popular on Instagram as she regularly posts to her 327k followers.
She also has a degree in child psychology from San Sebastian University.
We're unsure if the ban is enforced this time around, given that the French side went out disappointedly in the round of 16 at the European Championships last summer to Switzerland on penalties.

If that's the effect it has on the team's performance, then we're sure England fans will hope Deschamps has enforced it once again.
