Amad Diallo's spell at Championship side Sunderland is being described as "one of the greatest loans ever" after he scored another screamer for Tony Mowbray's in-form side.
The 20-year-old Ivory Coast international, who joined the Black Cats from Manchester United on a season-long loan deal in August, has been nothing short of a revelation since arriving at the Stadium of Light.
He has scored 13 goals in 37 league appearances this season, including a wonderful 25-yard finish in Monday's crucial clash against Preston – a strike that helped Sunderland secure a much-deserved play-off spot.

Diallo's contribution has been one of the main factors behind their promotion push. In fact, some are suggesting that his move could be seen as one of the all-time great loan deals.
After his efforts against Preston on Monday afternoon, Twitter account Barstool Football said: "Amad Diallo’s loan spell at Sunderland might go down as one of the greatest ever," before another replied: "100%. Basically led them into the playoffs. He’s a cut above the rest."
A third added: "He's been sensational... and the partnership with Roberts is a joy to watch."

Although some agreed with the bold statement, others strongly disagreed. Tammy Abraham is mentioned on numerous occasions in the comments section for his performances on loan at Bristol City and Aston Villa, as does former Leeds loanee Ben White.
"Just because he’s a centre back so didn’t grab as many headlines doesn’t mean Ben White isn’t right up there as one of the best loans ever," one fan wrote. "Absolutely pivotal in Leeds’ promotion season. We’ve hardly kept a clean sheet since he left."
Cameron Archer, who joined play-off hopefuls Middlesbrough in January on a six-month loan deal, is another player who features in the comments section.

The 21-year-old has scored 11 goals in 20 games for Michael Carrick's side, and some believe he has performed better than Diallo.
"Not even the best loan this season," one fan replied. "Cameron Archer has more goal involvements at Middlesbrough after only joining in January," while another said: "Archer got more goal contributions in 17 less games."
Diallo, meanwhile, has suggested that he could stay at Sunderland beyond the current season. They face Luton Town on Saturday in the first leg of their Championship play-off semi-final.
He said: "Playing against Luton is very hard but I hope we’ll be in the Premier League next season and maybe I’ll come back, I don’t know."
