Alejandro Garnacho once again showed what the future holds for the exciting young forward, setting up Manchester United teammate Scott McTominay with a brilliant ball.
United have a great history of bringing players through their academy, recently bringing up the 85th anniversary of always including at least one graduate from their set up in every matchday squad.
That continued on Thursday night, in the Carabao Cup game against Aston Villa, just days after their latest Premier League loss to the same opponents.

Scott McTominay and Marcus Rashford started the game, representing the youth academy, with Anthony Elanga, Shola Shoretire and Garnacho all on the bench.
United, and in fairness Villa, were really poor in the first 45 minutes, with the team offside more than the two sides had shots, combined.
In the second half, both teams showed attacking improvements, with United eventually running out 4-2 winners, and the academy grads had a big say.

Rashford was named Player of the Match and McTominay got himself on the scoresheet, but the Scotsman had Garnacho to thank for his goal.
The 18-year-old played an outrageous ball over the top of the Villa defence in the patch of his teammates run, who was still outside the box at the time, with McTominay running onto it and timing his stretch to perfection, to knock the ball home.
"ALEJANDRO GARNACHO, THAT IS A SENSATIONAL PASS AND WHAT A FINISH MCTOMINAY!!!!!" one fan excitedly shouted on social media.

"Alejandro Garnacho. Star boy. That is absolutely stupendous," United twitterati, Liam Canning added.
Another social media savvy United fan, Jay Motty, was also impressed, saying, "Garnacho swapping shirts with Leon Bailey was the only time a Villa player got near him all night. Absolute class that lad."
"SUPERB BALL FROM GARNACHO!" fan page The United Stand also shouted.
Focusing on his all round performance, centredevils said, "Something tells me we’re going to remember that Alejandro Garnacho performance for a while…

"The sky’s the limit for this kid, we can’t wait to see him produce more magical performances at the theatre."
United actually looked like they might once again be facing a loss to Unai Emery, for the second time in a matter of days, when Ollie Watkins gave the visitors the lead in the 48th minute.
However, that lead lasted about a minute, as Anthony Martial equalised almost immediately, following great work from Diogo Dalot and Bruno Fernandes.

The Portuguese full back then helped Villa retake the lead when he knocked the ball into his own net, following a header from Leon Bailey.
United were level once again, this time through Marcus Rashford, following a number of substitutes, including Garnacho coming on and the woeful Donny van de Beek coming off.
Garnacho got his first assist for Fernandes' goal, which put United ahead for the first time on the night, before setting up McTominay.
