Red Bull's true feelings revealed after Christian Horner and Max Verstappen 'booed' at F1 75

F1 75 saw all 10 Formula 1 teams reveal their new car designs.

How Red Bull Racing really felt about Christian Horner and Max Verstappen being booed at F1 75 has been revealed.

On Tuesday night, all 10 Formula 1 teams gathered at the O2 Arena in London as they revealed their new car designs ahead of the 2025 season.

At the start of the show, host and comedian Jack Whitehall quickly addressed the 'beef' between Verstappen and Mercedes star George Russell.

Towards the end of the 2024 campaign, Verstappen and Russell had a war of words over several incidents on track.

Every time Verstappen's name was mentioned during the show, there were audible boos from the crowd, which sometimes were drowned out a little by the cheers.

Aside from Verstappen, Red Bull team boss Horner also received a hostile reception when he made an appearance.

The crowd inside the arena also booed when the FIA logo was shown on the big screens.

How Red Bull Racing reacted to hostile reception at F1 75

A few days on from the event, it has been claimed that Red Bull were left unhappy with the reception they received during the historic F1 show.

As reported by F1 Oversteer, ESPN's Nate Saunders said on the Unlapped Show: "Red Bull were surprised about it. They were quite unhappy. They said booing is one thing – they were unhappy that it only seemed to be at them.

"Toto went on stage, no booing. Lando did. There were quite a lot of McLaren fans there actually."

Verstappen's father, Jos, has also spoken out about the hostile environment Red Bull were met with inside the O2 Arena.

Jos Verstappen speaks out on Max Verstappen and Christian Horner boos

He said to RaceXpress: "In itself I thought it was a reasonable set-up, only I thought it was shameful what happened there with Red Bull Racing.

"That Christian Horner was booed like that, and Max was booed too. Look, then you do it for Formula 1, you are there to promote the sport and then you are booed by the public. I don't think that's acceptable.

"I get it, because Max is the only one who fires up those Englishmen and says exactly how things are. But I don't think this is acceptable, it's really a disappointment what happened there."
